For the most part I've been able to manipulate the web client code to hide what I don't want visible. The one thing I can't figure out is how to move the Rename function out from the More Actions menu and into the main action menu bar (where Download, Upload, Delete, etc are). I can move the icon and name, but it doesn't work.
Would someone please help me with this.

We are in need of a file approval workflow and I'm hoping this is something Serv-U MFT can handle. If not, we will have to find another solutions.
For example: A user uploads a file and in order for it to post for guest access it has to be approved by an approver. We need this in order to manage file being received or transmitted.

I am trying to setup an FTP server using Serv-U that would ONLY require PUBLIC KEY authentication.
I've set the option in Limits & Settings | Password | SSH authentication type to "Public Key Only"
When I attempt the connection from the Unisys ClearPath MCP system client, the PublicKey authentication passes, but then there seems to be an attempt to do perform password authentication as well, which always fails.

I've tried disabling the PASS command; I've set the user's password to an empty value and also to just a single character but even that fails.
Does anyone have an idea on how to get around this?
I had to un-install and re-install the software recently. After the re-install, I don't see my previous domain and all my users. Is it stored somewhere on my pc, or am I out of luck? Thanks.

I just installed Serv U MFTP w/ gateway. Looks to be authenticating but fails at directory listing. Nothing in the log on the server is indicating any fail - just on the client end. I've opened a ticket with SolarWinds and just waiting to hear back.

I have just inherited an install of serv-u and had a question around the base base that it uses.
I am am under the impression that you can use sql/MySQL/etc to store account and system information, however, when this instance was setup no database was specified. From what I have been told, a local proprietary database is used when nothing is specified during configuration.
Can anyone clarify where/how account information is stored in a scenario like this. I haven't been able to find any information and was hoping someone her could shed some light on how this works.
Also, I want to look into hardening tbe server and configuring serv-u to some kind of a standard. Is anyone aware of any security baselines/best practices to follow during configuration?
The Datasheet does NOT mention Windows 2016 as a supported OS.
When do we expect this to change? Our company is phasing out older OSes as fast as possible and would like to add the server where this is installed to that tally.

Quick question about your Voyager product. I notice that when there are multiple transfer tasks/jobs scheduled at the same time (or near the same time but one runs long), it will queue the other jobs up behind it and they cannot run until the first scheduled transfer job/task completes. Is there a way to allow Voyager Scheduler to run multiple simultaneous transfers at one time without the tasks queuing up? You list on the Voyager download page "It also supports simultaneous connections to multiple hosts, multiple concurrent transfers", is that only when using the manual Voyager console, but not the scheduler? Or am I missing a configuration setting that will allow that ability within the Scheduler?

I have file with size greater than 500 mb, which normally take time to copy from another server to ftp server. From thier we have to copy this file via ftp voyager scheduler to another server.
problem is ftp voyager start copying file before it get completely copied by another server, causing error...

i am using solarwind tftp server for upload image on Cisco device, but i am not able to upload it because of following error binary,GET.Transmission failed. could not find file
1- I have disabled the window firewall
2- root directory is right
3- IP binding is ok
4- send and receive is ok
5- i reinstalled the tftp server, but could not find any help
but i am still unable to upload the image. can anybody guess what is the solution ?

We manage many separate companies all using our FTP solution.
Each company has multiple offices in EMEA.
Each office has an IT person.
In our Serv-U server, we have implemented multiple domains, one for each company.
Is it possible for an IT person to be a domain admin but have access to their office without having access to the whole domain?

Is there a way in Serv-U MFTP to capture & log an external IP address?
We're implementing a white-list, however Serv-U only sees our internal IP addresses and firewall IP for external partner access.
And as a follow-up are there any tools to integrate a white list in Serv-U MFTP and have that propagate to another network tool?
The second question is that to manage the white list we'll have to have some of our business & IT users gather the necessary information then communicate that to our net-ops and wait for them to add new partners; currently we have a much faster nimble process when the time to add a new partner is just a few minutes.

I would like to setup our SERV-U MFT server to use LDAP authentication but the tab is missing in the Server Details for the Global Domain?
What is needed to have the tab appear?

We are testing this product and have found an issue with directory structure on ISE. Within ISE (uses Linux) when you create the repository and enter the path it has to begin with a forward slash / it will not accept a blank, a period or a back slash \.
Have you run across this? Is there a fix? I just keep getting an error that it can't read the remote directory.
