Top-Level Root Directory Displaying Issue

We're currently moving our existing ProFTPd service to Serv-U, but we've hit a bit of a snag.. On both servers, there is a  root directory for the FTP storage (/ftproot - YES, just off the ROOT "/") with all our company and client sub-directories below it.

Now, when myself or a staff member logs in to the ProFTPd site, they see the following from within FTP client (Filezilla & CLI)

Our current FTP Site (running ProFTPd)

/

     /<company>

     /<clients>

BUT.. When we log into the Serv-U server, the following is displayed in the client (Filezilla & CLI)

Serv-U Test FTP Site

/

     /ftproot

          /<company>

          /<clients>

What I'm trying to do is for Serv-U to display the same output / directory structure as the ProFTPd. I have tried switching the Domain Home Directory, Group Directories, Serv-U and OS-level permissions and so on.. And I'm stumped on to WHY Serv-U would display all this top-level root directories and HOW to stop it from displaying.

Thanks
