Support prices

Hi,

 

I have been a customer using Serv-U for a LONG LONG time (since 2005/2006?). I used to be a Kiwi Syslog client as well even longer ago. But due to Solar Winds "Support Price Policy" I have not updated Syslog for many years.

 

Will this issue hit Serv-U as well  - hugely increased support costs close to the product retail cost? I'm fine paying 10-25% for upgrades and support p.a. But much above that and my company will jump ship. My current support does not expire for some time yet - but I would like to be prepared to move to another FTP server in good time. And to be honest - I would rather see development resources go into PERFORMANCE than useless file sharing systems that compete with 500 other file sharing tools out there.
